Did you also know that Samsung’s Smart TV appears to be a piece of technology taken straight out of George Orwell’s 1984?
The controversy about this TV is in regards to a line buried in their privacy policy says how “spoken words” will be “captured and transmitted from a third party” through a voice command function.
Quite possibly this is no big deal and it is for the purpose of the TV learning to be smart; or maybe there is some secret sinister plan behind the tv’s and it should really read; “Please be aware that your face, ass, and voice will be recorded anytime conspiratorial speech is detected, and it will be shared with NSA to place in your citizen file for further investigation and action deemed appropriate.”
