I’m not sure how it is in Australia, but in the United States, all of the protections are embedded in the statutes, rules, and codes. The problem is the people don’t rebut the presumptions AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME. During the arrest is not the appropriate time. It will have to either be done after Santos is out and going to his hearings or it should have been done prior to the arrest warrants. Also, if he’s going to challenge their authority on the grounds that he’s rattling off here, he’s going to have an uphill battle. He should use their own rules against them. He didn’t bother to ask to see the warrant to make sure it’s complete. He didn’t challenge the validity of the warrant at all. He might be right about being a free man on the land but if you don’t know how to assert that correctly, or at least to do it with a process then it does no good to be a free man on the land in theory.
Either it is the usual fear mongering done to scare people into fearing the state, done by people like Mark Passio, Alex Jones, et al along with the government, etc. OR What else would he have expected? So, he is either a fear monger OR living in a dream world. If he isn’t acting, was he not capable of reading his astrological chart properly? BTW – I am an astrologer. The government isn’t going to allow this sort of thing. They are de facto. That’s all that matters in their eyes.
