Who has fully realized that history is not contained in thick books, but lives in our very blood? ~Carl Jung
Carl Jung is one of the modern world’s greatest Gnostics, who was also a psychotherapist and psychiatrist. In Jung’s books, he often correlates his own Gnostic Trip with that of his patients who he had met at his medical practice. He knew early on that to become a true Gnostic, we must not only know THYSELF, but we must also seek to understand other people, and in studying them we can find out more about ourselves.
This makes Jung what I like to call, a “Scientific Gnostic.”
After reading much of Carl Jung’s material and books, it is quite evident that he had come to the conclusion towards the end of his life, that one of the most important factors at being happy or content in this current world was that we needed to be “true to our blood and heritage.” He had discovered that when his patients had acted contrary to who they were inside based on their blood history, they were often depressed, manic or both.
In his book, Memories, Dreams and Reflections, Jung wrote about a patient of his who was a Jewish woman and the daughter of a wealthy banker. Apparently her grandfather was a Jewish Rabbi and her father ended up becoming an Apostate of the Jewish faith. He had written, “She was a well adapted Westernized Jewess, enlightened down to the bones,” and ‘The girl had been suffering for years from severe anxiety neurosis, which the experience naturally worsened.”
Jung eventually diagnosed that the woman was essentially not being true to her heritage, religion and blood history (DNA). He explained to her, ” Now I am going to tell you something that you may not be able to accept. Your grandfather was a zaddik. Your father became an apostate to the Jewish Faith. He betrayed the secret and turned his back on God. And you have a neurosis because the fear of God has got into you.” He then says, “That struck her like a bolt of lightning.”
Jung then tells of a dream he had the same night, where he was at a reception where it was pouring rain outside and he saw a young girl who had asked him, “Haven’t you got an umbrella? It is raining so hard.” He ended up finding one, fumbling to open it and presented the umbrella on his knees to the young girl as if she was a goddess. He told his dream to his neurotic Westernized Jewess patient, and in a week, the neurosis had vanished. The dream Jung had, shown him that the woman was not just a superficial girl, but that beneath the surface were the makings of a saint!
What Jung had discovered in his medical practice with this Jewish patient and others, was a direct correlation between one’s family history, faith and who we are today. This particular patient was suffering from severe neurosis that Jung in a round about way had diagnosed her as “Living a lie by abandoning her God, faith and ancestors.” A history that I AM finding that we must acknowledge and honor if we truly want to be happy. Otherwise we are simply socially engineered mind controlled robots.
This my friends is part of the spiritual awakening that we must undergo to break free from Plato’s cave, in order to enter into the light of our own DNA to be a true Gnostic. If you do not know your soul, your family’s past and your own DNA, then you truly do not know you, but only what you have been told. You are living a lie if you do not know these facts. To find yourself, you must study yourself and your family’s past. To know yourself, you must study the DNA science that makes you who you are, and that is what is called “Human Biology.”
For THYSELF is a biological entity that is composed of chemical energies which contain the ancient memories and computer code that makes us who we are today.

Just found your site today, read a few articles, great works and profound insight! In reference quoting Jung diagnosing the Jewish girl, I also recalled many “Karma Stories” read in the Buddhist context, and find they somehow echoed with each other. For instance, the Buddhist explains disease in much this way. A real story: a boy born with a rare disease, his skin scalped and peeled off without cause, and pain all over his skin and body, scorching. All doctors were consulted but no medical term could be called to explain, the family was rich running a popular restaurant he was the only child. Eventually the mother seek out the Zen/Buddhist Master. The Buddhist questioned the profession of the father… found that he was a famous chef who specialized a skill in slicing the fishes alive, and fried them with garnishes. When the dish prepared, the fish could be found still alive its head was intact rolling it’s eyes and gulping on the table. The father inherited this asset from his father… and this is the family’s secret recipe, which facilitated their popular restaurant… many fishes were prepared in that way, the disease of his own son was the pain for the whole family. At last, the father gave up the trade, and spread the money for charity, especially buying fishes that are about to be served for the meals, returned them to the water, to save them… with the parents’ these efforts, the boy was slowly recovering…
Hello Pommi and thanks so much for the kind message. That is a wonderful story I would like to share with others. Peace be with you always!
Feel free 🙂
Read few more of your articles, it’s inspiring with those scientific or Western/Christian Gnostic perspectives. Interesting to compare with teachings in the Eastern/Oriental/Buddhist context this help me to understand them better. Talking about DNA, karma can be embedded in the gene… that’s why Feng Shui – the tomb of the ancestor’s FS (in fact it’s the study of energy flow) could affect one’s well-being. My pure speculation, elaboration needed.

Thanks for your comment and sharing your thoughts. I have found that all ancient traditions are based on Gnosis, and in particular, ancestor and tribal Gnosis which is inherited through our DNA. Many sacred locations and holy places are the places and energies of our ancestors who dwell there. These places were often chosen because of the earth and healing energies were the best which are normally along the energy grids of the earth.
Gratitude for sharing your insights!
Have you ever consider submitting your DNA to a genealogical organization that discovers your ancestry, potential health concerns?
My pleasure and thanks for the kind words. Yes, I have actually had my DNA tested at http://www.IGENEA.com about 2 years ago. I recommend that everyone get their DNA tested if they can afford to do so they know their ancestry.
