The biblical King Solomon was known for his wisdom, his wealth, and his writings. The name solomon sealSolomon is derived from the words sol, om and on. The meaning of the word sol is the second sun, light, soul and also peace. The meaning of om is the sacred syllable used to represent God, the Logos, anima mundi or world soul. On means being, and also a movement, action, or some type of power supply.

Manly P. Hall in his great book, The Secret Teachings of all Ages calls Solomon, “The Spirit of Universal Illumination–mental, spiritual, moral, and physical. The name Solomon he states, symbolizes light, glory, and truth collectively and respectively. It signifies its invisible but all-powerful, spiritual and intellectual effulgency.”

In Hebrew, Solomon is שְׁלֹמֹה (Shelomoh) which was derived from Hebrew שָׁלוֹם (shalom) “peace”.  Solomon is also called the name Jedediah which comes from Yedidya, a Hebrew name meaning “Friend of God” or “beloved of God”. The name for solomon in Arabic is سليمان, Suleiman or Sulayman.

Other spellings of sol can be found in saul, and soul. Sol is often mistakenly referred to as the sun because of the Latin sol, but it is not. Sol represents the second son which is the planet Jupiter, who was often referred to as the soul of the world, anima mundi, and king of the gods. In Hebrew, sol means peace, as it also does in Arabic.

“Om” is from the ancient Greek word Omega which is also the last letter of its alphabet. The word Omega means the “great Om.” The Greek lowercase letter Omega when turned to its side, looks very similar to the Sanskrit method of writing Om. Om is the Sanskrit Aum who is the name of God. Om is the reflection of the absolute reality, and the mantra “OM” is the name of God, the vibration of the Supreme. The ancient Egyptians knew of Om as Ammon, Amun or Jupiter Ammon. That is why in Christianity it further evolved into Amen, and the Lord Jesus refers to himself as, “the Amen, the faithful and true witness,” (Revelation 3:14) and “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

Phosphorus brainsThe meaning of “on” is being, and also a movement or action, or some type of power supply. This state of being, or power supply is derived from the chemical energy phosphorus. It is from the as above Jupiter where we obtain the so below phosphorus that is the very chemical life force that Manly Hall calls, “Spirit of Universal Illumination–mental, spiritual, moral, and physical.”

Phosphorus is a very important chemical that is in our very own DNA. Phosphorus is essential for all life on earth, and the phosphate is a component of DNA, RNA, ATP, and also the phospholipids that form all cell membranes. Simply put, without phosphorus, we humans would simply not be human, because consciousness and our spiritual energy would not exist. It is through our DNA which contains phosphorus, that we become conscious to the world and who we are in order to live in the light.

Phosphorus Cycle

Phosphorus (P) is an essential element for all life forms and is stored primarily in soil and sediment. Phosphorus is an essential component of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism (i.e. uptake and transport of nutrients); deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) which is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms; and ribonucleic acid (RNA) which is important for protein synthesis in plants and animals.

This is why Jupiter is known as the soul of the world and king of the Gods (Heavens), because the ancient wisdom teachers knew that it is from Jupiter where we humans derive our energy supply known as phosphorus which is the alpha and omega of earth. Phosphorus is the only chemical left of life when we cross to the other realm. Hence, the beginning and the end…

We are the children of Jupiter who shine the light of God on earth in order to illuminate humanity to become Sol-Om-Ons in our own right. To do so, we must work at perfecting ourselves by becoming mentally, spiritually, morally, and physically fit as possible. Alchemically, we must think, eat, and live right to balance these chemical energies within us, so we are operating at optimum human levels. That way we can become spiritually enlightened beings, who like the biblical King Solomon are known for our wisdom, writings and great work.

Here is some gnostic wisdom from the wise King Solomon and ancient Egyptians to end this article; Solomon said, “Start with God – the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning;” and the Egyptians, “The body is the house of God. Man, know thyself, and thou shalt know the gods.”

As above, so below; and as within, so without……..
