In deciphering this image (Diego de Valadés Rhetorica Christiana 1579) below, you will clearly see the man to the right who is chained and led by Demons with their leader Yaldoboath to riches and the earthly throne of fire. Yaldoboath is the ruler of this world who is the Chief Archon who is the son of the creator God of Genesis and the demiurge of Platonism. The meaning of the name demiurge is maker which makes him the “creator of the material world.”

The serpent is their symbol which you will find associated with demons and devils. The serpent is known in ancient Gnostic Theology as Yaldoboath or the Demiurge and in the Scripture as the Great Dragon, the Devil and Price of the Earth.

The word typus is the Latin name from the original Ancient Greek τύπος (tupos, “mark, impression, type”), from τύπτω (tuptō, “I strike, beat”). Peccatoris is Latin for sinner.

The first word on the Angel’s staff is “humility” which comes from the Latin word humilitas, a noun related to the adjective humilis. It may be translated as “humble”, but also as “grounded”, or “from the earth”, since it derives in turns from humus (earth).

Now see if you can discover any more symbology in this image and or decipher the Latin words yourself.
