We modern Gnostics understand that the masses of people and their alleged needs to live are often controlled by media,black friday corporations, propaganda and meaningless events such as Black Friday.

Often we do the exact opposite of the herd mentality because we know that what directs the herd materially often leads them straight off the cliff into spiritual nothingness and meaningless lives.
