By Greg Hall (Storm Wolf) – It is more than disappointing to see the way that people disrespect the wildlife and their RIGHT to live men kill wolveshere… Humans have encroached upon their natural habitats everywhere and have made it more and more difficult for them to survive.

Ranchers shoot wolves because they eat young “expensive” calves… WTF are they supposed to eat when the livestock has overtaken the environment where the wolves’ natural prey existed?

People here in Sedona complain about being afraid on the trails because of coyotes or mountain lions and will carry weapons to “protect” themselves when they go out in nature hiking… What makes you think YOU deserve to live MORE than the animals whose home YOU are invading?

I grew up on the Gulf Coast and was in the Gulf nearly everyday of my life – surfing, diving, snorkeling etc… Every time I went in the water I KNEW that I was entering the shark’s domain and I accepted that risk for the return of the joy it brought me to be there.

Some people need to stop feeling so entitled and realize that humans are NOT the weavers of the web of life but ONLY a strand in it.

“If you talk to the animals they will talk with you
and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them
you will not know them, and what you do not know
you will fear. What one fears one destroys.”
