The path to true Gnosis is often symbolized in Masonic ritual with what is called the Tracing Board and the letter G would represent the word “Gnosis.” The Masons are who we could call the inheritors of the ancient Gnostic teachings, mysteries and symbols that went underground after the advent of early Christianity.
This image to the right shows the seven steps representing the seven levels of consciousness that a Mason must climb in order to reach their own Gnosis. Starting at step one or the 1st degree, the Mason is clearly shown they must work daily at obtaining the wisdom and truth that is needed to ascend to the light.
What many Masons fail to realize along their path in that these Gnostic teachings are not just about serving thyself to reach a selfish state of Gnosis, but also to serve others. It is treating all people with respect, light and love and not just their Masonic Brethren.
There is no middle path.
There is but one path for the Sons of Light to the true God in the heavens that we can reach through our own Gnosis and in serving others unselfishly, and the other path that leads to the highway of hell and the devil paved with the lost selfish souls of the past.
The rules of the Masonic Tracing Board symbolize that which the Luciferian Masonic candidate must climb with his or her own Great Work to become one with Jesus Christ who represents the Logos. A word that means reason and the Messiah to us all. As I mentioned above, the G at the stop of the steps represents Gnosis and this what the Mason obtains once he has climbed the seven levels of consciousness that is needed to reach the true light.
There are but two ways right and wrong, good and evil; the way to heaven and the way to hell; in the one or other of these all are walking: there is no middle place hereafter, no middle way now.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” – Matthew 7:14
