A recent image of President Obama has been making quite a buzz on the internet over the last few days. Many people think Obama-hornsthat these are symbolic devil’s horns above his head, and that this was done deliberately or may have a sinister meaning behind the horn symbology.

In this article I would like to explain a brief history of horn symbology and what it truly means. I’m not claiming that this image of the Commander and Chief of the U.S. was created for a sinister purpose, because the facts are no one can prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt. But since we live in a day and age where secret conspiracies seem to be  somewhat the norm, for fun let’s explore a little science behind the symbology of the horns.

The horn symbology looks very much like what can be found inside our own skulls, where we can find in our brains what is called the hippocampus or ammon’s horn. I have written about this subject a few times in the past. In neuroanatomy, the ammon’s horn is a metaphor that relates to the gods and the brain. In ancient Egypt, the Ammon’s horn is the hidden creator, king of the gods, and the lord of the thrones of the world. Amun is ‘The hidden one.” Lord of the visible and the invisible worlds, he was the mysterious soul of the universe which reveals itself in light. In the bible, “The Amen, the true and faithful witness,” Rev. i. 14.

Secrets of the Pyramid Hippocampus Drawing www.macalester.eduAll humans have Ammon’s horn which are two hippocampi, one in each side of the brain. It is a part of the cerebral cortex, and in primates is located in the medial temporal lobe, underneath the cortical surface. It contains two main interlocking Ammons Horn parts: Ammon’s horn and the gyrus. Ammon’s Horn, or the hippocampus plays one of the most important roles in the consolidation of information from short-term memory to long-term memory and spatial navigation. The Latin Hippocampus is from Ancient Greek ἱππόκαμπος (hippokampos), from ἵππος (hippos, “horse”) and κάμπος (kampos, “sea monster”).

Many ancient cultures had known about this science of the hippocampus in relation to gnosis, learning, and memories, which they had honored this in hieroglyphs, art, sculptures and texts.

These same horns can be found throughout history on people such as Moses

These images were not created to represent evil or the devil. But ancient gnosis and science.

One last thought I’d like to share with you…

It is in the rear compartment of our skulls, or Holy of Holies that is biblically called “the oracle.” Over this rock is supposedHippocampus to have been the Holy of Holies. This is the rock of our skulls, and our hippocampus which is known scientifically to transmit our memories, learning, and our brains through thoughts, words and actions. Beneath this area are still aqueducts, passages, and tanks once used for the proper drainage and use of the Temple. The Temple being our bodies with the aqueducts, passages, and tanks consisting of our blood, veins and organs such as the horns in our heads.

Is the image of Obama above related to this ancient science as the images I have shown above of Egyptian Pharaohs, Biblical Kings, and Greek Greats? Is it just a coincidence and we wear tin foil hats? Or you could still ignorantly think that horns only represent the devil. The choice, like all your choices is yours to make and not mine.
